[19 oct 8] i attended "every life deserves hope" atlanta's 2008 aids walk at piedmont park. the turn out was absolutley amazing. with support from black organizations like alpha kappa alpha, alpha phi alpha, delta sigma theta, kappa alpha psi, omega psi phi, phi beta sigma, sigma gamma rho, zeta phi beta. never let it be said that we don't care. that red aids ribbon tied us all together. i was privileged to be present.

[6-8 sept 8] some friends and i took a trip to nc -- where we are all from. 6 hours there and 6 back was no punk but we had fun. i got to spend time with the "other" love of my life, my granny. she is a mess, especially since i got her a computer and taught her how to listen to her music on it... it was much needed. pictured: jason, odessa, tony, my granny and of course, me

[30 aug 8] went to jensen's bday party this weekend. i got to hang out with my friends jerris (aka jmad), page, and prince. oh yeah, jensen was there too. i ain't had no sleep in 2 days.

[7 aug 8] i had the privilege of attending aid atlanta's urban chic - catalyst fashion fundraiser in the fox theater's egyptian ballroom. they raised nearly 100k. it was good seeing my friend darryl stephens (noah) also and meeting denise stokes.

[14 june 8] i atteneded the barbara lewis king scholarship foundation awards and had the privilege of meeting dr joe l dudley sr. that kat is amazing!

[21-24 may] i was the key note speaker at tacoma community college in none other than tacoma washington... lol! despite the rain, i had a wonderful time sharing a touring the city. seattle really is one of america's best kept secrets. now, the secrets out, this is a place you must visit.

[25 october 7] i spoke at the cache symposium with friends phil wilson and sheryl lee ralph. amongst the sponsors and volunteers was my alma mater johnson c smith university. today i was proud to be a smithite [J.C] [S.U]!

[8-29 september 7] some of the most amazing experiences came out of this opportunity. this has been an awesome experience.

[31 aug - 3 sept 7] labor day was great. id id nto do all the typical gay stuff for pride. hung out with gordon chambers and ledisi at the the montreux jazz fesival and later thet evening with india arie at event lounge. ohh the sites...lol...enjoy the pictures!

[30 july 7] yesterday at outwrite books, i was privileged to to hear him share his journey as one of the music industry’s greatest songwriter and i will tell you, i am a bigger fan now than i was before i met him.

[4 july 7] we spent the evening at centennial park here in atl. it was larry, tim, stanley (not shown) and ricky (he ain't in the picture either).

[30 june 7] my cousin made a trip to the a' from sin city. we got to spend a lil time together. i miss her sometimes...usually, i don't lol! what is up with lesbians and loxx...some body help me understand :o)

[28 june 7] just another day chillin. not gonna say what we was doing because y'all like to talk... but naww..it wasn't that...lol!

1-3 may 7 | glenn and i went to get tattoos at alien touch tattoo in 5 points. this is glenn's 1st tattoo. it is my 5th. it took him 2 days to do mine (day 1) was the outline (day 2) was the filling it in. about 3 hours and 6 ibuprofen later he was done and i was greatful.

16-18 april 7 | i went to ecu. i was expecting family to show since they were only 45 minutes away...but they didn't. i made the most of my time here as you can see. i would love to come back...but i won't be staying at this holiday inn.

4 april 7 | to day i went to 5 points and i actually did it...i got my neck pierced. then i hung out at blake's in midtown and had a few drinks...met this cool sexy named lb. here are a few pics of the day.

21 march 7| morehouse college's safe space in partnership with the human rights campaign, georgia state's blackout, and spleman's afrekete hosted bishop carlton pearson and explored the ways in which individuals reconcile their spirituality and sexuality.

9-11 march 7| my friend glen came from ny and we spent some time hanging out in the city acting a fool and what not. i miss him...already! hurry back homie!

4-6 march 7 | i spoke at villa julie college in stevenson md the tall ass kat in the first pic is #13 (jerome james) from the ny knicks. also my mom whom i have not seen in close to 10 yrs. my great aunt and uncle and jared and mark.

12-15 january 7 | i didn't do everything there was to do this weekend but i met a few cool people from above the life and damn damn damn...stripper man stripper man stripper man...he made me moist! lol

10 january 7| tonight i went to see a special screening of stomp the yard. I met several of the cast. i wish columbus had been there to pic me up on his lawnmower...with no shirt on...lol! i met brian white...and of all people...emanuel lewis (webster).

1 january 7 | i haven't been doing much since i got to atl so last night mah boy johnathan (go figure) took me to atl live for the first time...i enjoyed it! i love seeing my culture expressed the way it was expressed last night...and while you won't catch me voguging or j setting...it is hot to watch!

17-19 december | i just spent the last 3 days in houston tx where my friend steven walker invited me to facilitate some discussions. here are a few of the pictures that were taken there. people are getting ready the message was on point.

1 december 06 | one of the warmest engagements of my experience.

25 november 6 | i didn't go to the awards, but i went to the afterparty at sweet lowdown. seeing old friend making new connections. it was great. seeing keith, meeting duane cramer and a loto f other people made it worth the trip...and thanX desmond for being there!

4 november 6 | this was the last steering committee meeting for the hiv vaccine communications campaign -- of which i was not only proud but honored to be apart of.

6-8 october 6 | here are just 22 of the more than 170 pictures that were taken at the life aids 3rd annual teach in @ tuskegee university. the history at tu made this one of the most memorable experiences of my "activism" career. it was an reaffirmation of our struggle as black and show of our innovative and and intellectual fortitude.

4 october 6 | my last wednesday in cali was wonderful. i watched the season finale of noah's arc with doug spearman and at an acquaintance's home. doug is not only one of the stars in the show, but a special friend of mine whom i met about 2 years ago at another acquaintance's (derrick thompson) home in beverly hills. i can genuinely say that of all the people i've met in cali, doug is by far one of my favorites.

28 august 6 | last thursday my friend darian and i set out on a trip across the continent. well, after 34 hours we finally made it to the atl shawty...here are few few pictures of the trip. the ones i wanted to show i promised i wouldn't. n'joi!

16 september 6 | hee are pics from a birthday party in west hollywood last night. needless to say, i had a [really] good time. it felt really good to see my work (grafiX) in the hands of all his guests and as the backdrop of the party.
